This is mostly a family archive .  This place is for and about the Okesia Melungeon kin.  Descendants of Appalachian Melungeons, some who who stayed in the hills and made shit work, others who migrated along the Hillbilly Highway and found themselves on the outskirts of Detroit, Warren, and Hazel Park.  So grab a seat if you please; kick back, and reconnect with your roots if we're kin, and I'll spin you a couple yarns along the way, just remember, this place is for kin.
